Information about Keep In Touch Subscriptions

If you have received an email from FCPS asking you to update your KIT subscription, please do so!  The capabilities of the new ConnectED/KIT system adopted by FCPS over the summer have been expanded.

In addition to important announcements from the school, you may now:

  1. Choose to receive information on specific topics you choose. To continue receiving emails from the Hughes PTA, please check the “PTA” box – if you do not do this, you may stop receiving emails about updates!

  2. Choose to receive information from up to five schools

    • Make sure you are receiving information from all the schools your children attend

    • Rising 8th graders may wish to take register to start receiving information from their high school NOW, so that they do not miss any important announcements about rising 9th grade orientations or curriculum events.

  3. Change/update your email information online at the KIT website
    • No longer necessary to update this info via your child’s Emergency Health Care form; simply visit www.fcps.edu/kit/index.htm  to update information
  4. Choose to receive community outreach messages from the school division

NOTE: If you subscribed to KIT last year, you must resubscribe to continue receiving messages.  If you know of other Hughes parents who are not receiving important school info via ConnectED/KIT, PLEASE urge them to visit www.fcps.edu/kit/index.htm  and subscribe today!
