In 2015, LHMS eliminated traditional fundraisers. We rely solely on direct donations from Hughes families and our community.
PTA Panther Pride supports our mission to ensure that all of our students and teachers/staff have access to everything they need for success in the classroom, additional/new technology, school events,mini-grants and student recognition activities. The PTA activities for students (and families) include Skate Night, Homecoming Parade, Panther 5K, Student Basketball Game, Restaurant Spirit Nights, and more. We coordinate staff appreciation events throughout the year, support Spirit weeks for the whole school and recognize student accomplishments through Honor Roll and Bringing Up Grades celebrations.
